Paying by PayPal. We do accept Paypal payments. Please choose "paypal" when placing an order.

Carriage charges can usually be reduced for small orders
Lightweight, small and low value orders (e.g. worry dolls, accessories etc.) - we will post these using Royal Mail at about £2 for postage and packing . Your order total will be adjusted before your card is debited, but your order confirmation email will show the full carriage charge. Similarly Jewellery under £25 can also usually be posted. If in doubt please contact us before placing an order and we can confirm the carriage cost.

International Carriage Surcharges
Orders to anywhere other than UK mainland may incur a carriage surcharge. This will be confirmed with you before your card is debited. Your order confirmation e-mail will however show £6.95 carriage until the amendment is manually made.

Minimum Order is £5
You will appreciate that we need to set a minimum order of £5 due to credit card and cheque charges levied on us. As shipping is always shown as £6.95 the minimum total order value (including shipping) is set to £11.95 in the system.

Discount Codes
Sometimes we do special promotions. If you have received a discount code please enter it in the order and we will make a manual adjustment after your order is received. This will not show on your order confirmation e-mail which is sent automatically by the system at full price.

We will not charge you for anything until the day it is dispatched
We do not take payment from your debit/credit card until your order is ready to be dispatched.

Most items in our shop are currently in stock and can be dispatched quickly
Such orders will usually be with you within three working days - often sooner. Anything not currently available will be put on back order and we will contact you straight away to let you know this and when it is likely to be with you.

All stock is subject to availability and prices are subject to change
However, If there is any difference in price we will always contact you first to confirm any difference BEFORE debiting your credit card and shipping your order.

Kon-Tiki are not V.A.T registered
There is therefore no V.A.T to pay on any item in our shop.

Handmade items may vary
Whilst photographs are as accurate as possible the nature of many products we import is that there can be a bit of variation between the same type of item - most items are hand made and to be honest this is part of their charm. What you will receive however will be very similar to the item in the photograph, if not identical.

Customers have the right to cancel their order
By returning the goods, in 'as new' condition, within 7 working days of receipt. Where the customer exercises their right to cancel, a refund for the item will be made as soon as we receive it.

All complaints will be acknowledged within 5 working days
Although we try to acknowledge all complaints immediately. The customer will be informed of all progress in resolving the complaint. The only complaints we have had have been regarding goods damaged in transit which have been swiftly rectified.

Data Protection Act 1984
According to the Data Protection Act 1984 we do not supply any of your details to any third party.
